Overview


Journal of Commerce and Trade was established in the year 2005 to promote complex phenomena through publication of new, bona-fide, genuine and contemporary research papers, articles, case studies and discussions in the field of commerce, economics, law, management and trade. It is popular by the name JCT.  Book reviews and biographies of the legends in above fields are also given place in the JCT. Therefore, Society for Advanced Management Studies was framed and registered under the Societies' Act of Uttar Pradesh to run the journal as a not-for-profit activity. Later on, Registrar of News Papers for India was approached to get RNI no. for the Journal. Soon after, International Subscriber Serial Number was applied and received. Journal always valued publication ethics and academic integrity. JCT is among the nation's most respected scholarly journals. It is an International Double-Blind-Reviewed (Peer Reviewed/ Refereed) and Indexed Bi-Annual journal. In the yesteryears, Global Foundation for Research and Academic Development associated with the Journal.

The basic policy of Journal of Commerce and Trade is to publish Double Blind Peer Reviewed, Plagiarism free, DOI enabled and Archived research papers based on COPE ehical policies and DORA declaration. It is OPEN ACCESS. It is OPEN ACCESS.

As a part of Journal of Commerce and Trade, we are committed to support the research enterprise by curating, enhancing and disseminating research that is rigorous, reproducible and impactful. We work to promote openness and transparency as well as the highest standards in research culture. We provide an independent forum to discuss, write and analyse issues concerning research in the fields of commerce, economics, law, trade and management. We are always open to engage with researchers at all stages of their career to understand their needs and advocate for positive change. We believe that commerce, economics, law, management and trade should represent everyone and every discipline whether science or art. As such, we recognize that it is our responsibility to work towards overcoming inequities and to foster a culture of diversity and inclusion in our communities.

Research Misconduct


At Journal of Commerce and Trade, Publishers, Editors and Entire Editorial Board takes the reasonable steps to identify and prevent the publication of papers where research misconduct has occoured, including plagiarism, citation manipulation and data falsification and other likesome conduct. Journal of Commerce and Trade,  in no case will encourage, favour or allow such misconduct knowingly or unknowingly. If any such allegation is come to the knowledge of Editors or Publishers, they individually or jointly will take necessary legitimate action. 

Scholarly Publishing Statement 



The pivot of our scholarly mission is to publish JCT with highest quality with the greatest impact, presenting innovative research that foresees the future. JCT is highly valued by its community and trusted to deliver the best content worldwide through plagiarism check at 10 percent and double blind peer review. In assuring Quality Publishing, JCT provides online Tutorial for writing good scholarly papers. It stresses upon unification of the manuscript being submitted to the JCT through dictating Submission Guidelines. Re-submission of any previously rejected manuscript after improvements and modifications is happily accepted. JCT is both a Print and online Journal. It is full text free open access Journal. All the Volumes and the issues are archived with RePEc.

Dissemination and Delivery Policy


Working closely with societies, authors and subscribers to publish quality contents are just the start of our mission. We are committed to ensuring that JCT is disseminated worldwide, so that researchers are able to access our content wherever and whenever they need it. JCT has understanding with the international library community to make the published contents a realistic option to suit the variety of academic pursuits for one and all. All the print copies are delivered through certified Private Courier or India Government Postal Department via speed post. It is to note that print copies, certificates shall only be dispatched on the addresses submitted during registration process. If an author does not give proper details or incomplete details, the JCT is not liable for not receiving copies. If the aspiring person does not receive the print copy in stipulated time, he/she can write for missing issue. Issues are delivered without delay free of cost and postal charges.

Open Access Policy


We, at JCT, highly commend and favour Open Access and Green Open Access. Open Access serves the interests of Many Groups without violating the Copyright and Intellectual Property Rights.
Authors: It gives worldwide audience with more visibility and more impact of their work with no cost extra. Authors may gather citation for their works form world over. They also present their work without a copy with them through the QR Codes or an Interface.
Readers: It gives barrier-free access to required researches without going to libraries simply on a click on their phone or computer anywhere. Libraries: Open Access solves the problems in curating the multiple volumes and issues. It can give exact material to the needs of researcher in short. But, it is to note here that Open Access is free for viewers or explorers but not for the publisher or Journal. JCT believes in free flow of knowledge and works on the principles of not-for-profit publication ideologies. Thus, JCT took a middle path so that Publsihers rights can be protected without violating Open Access availability. Making reading view access free but download chargeable at a very low cost, which bears the simple maintienence and disimination cost over internet.

Society for Advanced Management Studies
The Society for Advanced Management Studies (SAMS) is a non-politico and not-for-profit forum of likeminded development oriented people. It is raised in December, 2004 to discuss and educate about various issues related to economy. SAMS seeks to stimulate public thinking, researches and views of the experts on vital problems through publication and distribution of Journal of Commerce and Trade, organization of seminar, discussions & lectures on latest topics of popular choice, publication of books on burning commerce and related issues, motivation to the uneducated for education and backwards to upgrade, establishing a harmony in the society and contacting other organisations to broadcast Indian economy. The society is constituted by a Board of Members. All the members are high academicians, scholars and intellectuals. The registered office of the society is at 25, Murari Puram, Garh Road, Meerut. The society is registered one with the Registrar of the Societies, Uttar Pradesh (Meerut) bearing the Registration No. 998(2004-05). The broad objectives of the Society is as mentioned below:

  1. Publication and distribution of a contemporary Journal on commerce related subjects;
  2. Organisation of Seminars and Conferences etc. on commerce related subjects;
  3. Publication and distribution of books on commerce related burning subjects;
  4. Imparting education from Nursery to Post Gratuation;
  5. Motivating the backward and the neglected class of society for educational social development;
  6. Establishing libraries and reading centres for mental development of backward youths.
  7. Creating the feeling of National unity by removing the feeling of hatred and enimity arising on the basis of caste, religion and language; and
  8. Accomplishing the said objectives by establishing contact with the institutions having like some objectives.

Global Foundation for Reasearch and Academy Development
Global Foundation for Research and Academic Development (GFRAD) has been planned and designed in 2010 through aspiration of true researchers and academicians. Believing in eternal philosophy of ‘Tamso Maa Jyotirgamaye’, the foundation seeks to conduct quality workshops and conferences at All India level to disseminate research methods and techniques to aspirants. The major objective of the GFRAD is to bring a paradigm shift through the development of training programme and materials for training of researchers and supervisors for research philosophy and methodologies to conduct more effective research using contemporized tools to achieve resurgence. The founder of Foundation is Prof. Ramesh Mangal.
